The Aquarium's team of biologists and marine specialists are in charge of making sure that the animals live in the best conditions possible. Their tasks range from research on reproduction in seahorses and jellyfish to feeding and swimming with sharks.
The primary activity of the Donostia-San Sebastián Aquarium is to maintain and display the various tanks for the pubic's enjoyment and education, and to encourage a better understanding of marine life.
