Born in San Sebastián, environmental biologist and lover of marine life Amalia Martínez de Murguía saw her dream come true when she came to work at the Aquarium in 1993. Since that time she has headed the department in charge of providing ideal living conditions for the animals that inhabit the Aquarium. More information.
